Pro tip: stop overcomplicating your monthly spread
I see so many people on here with these crazy detailed monthly spreads that take hours to set up. I did that for like 6 months and kept abandoning my journal by week two lol. Last month I tried just writing the dates in a simple list with a little box next to each day, nothing else. It takes 5 minutes to set up and I've actually stuck with it for a full 30 days straight. Anyone else find that simpler spreads work way better for long term use?

The thing about setting up a monthly spread is that you're actually doing the work TWICE. You build this pretty layout, then you have to fill it in every day. People burn out on the layout part and forget the filling in part is what MATTERS. A simple list approach works because you're not fighting against your own system. Plus those elaborate spreads look great on Instagram but they're HORRIBLE for actual use. Your brain wants to write things down, not color code them.
