That moment at the grocery store where I stopped buying pre-cut veggies

I was at the Aldi on Division Street last Tuesday and saw a bag of pre-cut onions for $3.50 next to a whole bag of onions for $2. I grabbed the whole ones and diced them myself in 10 minutes, saved like $8 over the next week. Anyone else realize how much markup you pay for someone else slicing stuff up?

My buddy Tim bought pre-cut veggies for a month and then did the math, nearly had a heart attack.

Oh man, I feel that! I bought a bag of pre-shredded cheese last week without looking at the price and almost choked when I saw the receipt, never again.
