My emergency fund hit $5k this morning and I'm still shook

I set up an auto-transfer of $200 from each paycheck into a separate savings account six months ago. I didn't really check it, just let it run. Opened my banking app today and the balance was $5,127. I never thought I'd actually get that far without dipping into it for something dumb. It feels like real security for the first time. Anyone else get a shock from a number they didn't expect to reach?

Wait, I gotta disagree a bit. That feeling only lasts until the next surprise. My car transmission went last month, and that wiped my "safe" number clean.
