Tried canned beans vs dried beans for a month and dried smashed it

I cooked 20 meals last month and the dried beans cost me $4 total while the canned would have been $18 plus they tasted way better and had less salt, has anyone else made the switch and found a trick for soaking them faster?

Funny you mention this, my buddy tried the same thing last year and swore by it. He found that tossing the dried beans in a cooler with boiling water and letting them sit for an hour before cooking cut the soak time way down. Worked like a charm for him, though he did say you gotta watch the salt if you're adding any seasoning to the soak water.
