Watched a guy in a Denver parking lot swap a blown alternator in 9 minutes flat

He didn't even use a wrench, just a socket and a speed handle. Has anyone else seen these pro-level shortcuts that make you feel like you've been doing it the hard way for years?

Oh, absolutely. I had an old Ford Taurus once where the mechanic showed me you could change the oil filter from above if you had just the right swivel socket, and I felt like an absolute fool for all those years of crawling underneath.

Oh honey, "sparking and catching fire" is exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me too... I swear my appliances know when I'm not looking. I bought a used toaster once and it literally shot out a little flame the first time I used it. Made me jump so bad I nearly dropped my coffee. It's like some things are just cursed from the start, you know?
