Talking to my barber about why men never compliment each other made me try it out
Last Saturday at Frank's Barbershop on 5th Ave, my barber Luis said the only time dudes tell each other they look good is at funerals or weddings, and that is messed up. So I told my buddy Marcus at the gym his new haircut was sharp and he looked confused for a second then smiled huge, it was like I gave him a hundred bucks. Why are we so weird about giving dudes a straight up compliment, anyone else tried breaking that wall?

That wall is so stupid when you think about it. Told my neighbor his flannel jacket was fire and he did that double take thing too, then started telling me about where he got it for like ten minutes. Men are starving for that stuff, we just act like we are not. A simple "lookin good man" takes zero effort and makes someone's whole week. Luis is right, it should not take a funeral to say something nice.
