I finally belted out a song on the bus this morning

I usually sing to myself, but today I went for it full volume. It felt freeing to ignore the usual quiet rule. A few folks gave me looks, but one guy even joined in. Now I'm wondering if I made people uncomfortable or if it's okay to keep it up. Any advice on handling public singing?

What song did you belt out? That matters a LOT. Ignoring rules can feel amazing, but buses are shared space. If it was a fun tune and someone joined, maybe it was okay for that ride. Just read the ROOM next time, not everyone wants a concert at 7 AM.

Hey that sounds like a blast honestly! But I've gotta say, if people had headphones in trying to listen to their own stuff, your singing would totally mess with their vibe. Maybe save the full belt for when you're walking somewhere alone?

Did you check if the bus was a designated karaoke zone first? Otherwise, you might have accidentally turned someone's quiet ride into an audition they didn't ask for.
