Why does nobody talk about the old riveted boiler in the basement of the St. Louis City Museum?
I was there last weekend and the craftsmanship on the longitudinal seams is incredible, a real lesson in pre-code workmanship that you just don't see anymore.

Always thought they were ugly, but that one's actually beautiful.

What changed your mind about it? I felt the same way until I saw one up close in good light.
