Classic case of overthinking it, right? We ignore the easy fix and suffer through the noise for months. At least you won't have to listen to that knock anymore.

In my last apartment, the radiator knocked for months. I don't buy the overthinking idea. Most people aren't trained to spot that valve, and messing with it feels risky. You end up dealing with the noise because calling a pro seems like a big deal. It's more about fear of making things worse than just overcomplicating it.

My buddy had this awful knocking in his apartment for like a year, swore his heater was gonna explode. He finally had a plumber out for something else and the guy just twisted a little valve on the radiator in two seconds. The silence was actually shocking. My friend said he felt like a total genius for about five minutes, then just really dumb for all the lost sleep.
