Warning: that one guy at the party who wouldn't shut up about Squid Game spoiled the whole ending for me

I was at a backyard BBQ last Saturday and this dude just blurts out the final plot twist. Has anyone else had a show ruined by a random stranger in public?

Is it really that big of a deal though? I mean yeah it sucks when someone drops a spoiler, but the show's been out for a while now. Plenty of people talk about popular stuff at parties and you can't really control what comes out of someone's mouth. Maybe just say "hey stop I haven't seen it" and move on. Is the whole experience ruined or just one surprise moment?

Yeah I was that guy at a party who spoiled the ending of a movie I hadn't even seen yet. Major oops.
