Spent $15 on a show's premium channel just to watch the finale and it was a total letdown

I paid for a month of that streaming add-on just to see how the big mystery ended, and the last episode answered nothing. Felt like I threw that money straight into a hole. Anyone else get burned by a show that built up for years and then just fizzled out?

Was it one of those shows where the writers clearly had no plan for the ending? I've been there, and it feels worse than just wasting the money. You invest all that time waiting for a payoff that never comes. It makes you not want to start any new series because you don't trust them to stick the landing anymore.
