I used to watch shows one episode a week, but that changed last winter.

For years, I stuck to the old network TV schedule, watching my shows as they aired. Then, during a big snowstorm in February, I finally tried watching a whole season of a show called 'Severance' over a weekend. I noticed I remembered the plot details and characters way better than when I watched week to week. Now I always wait for a full season to drop before I start anything. Does anyone else find they follow a story better this way?

You said you remember plot details better when you binge, and I get that, but for me it's the total opposite. If I watch a whole season in a weekend, it all blurs together by the next month. Watching week to week gives me time to actually think about what happened and guess what's next. What show made you switch for good?

Binging just makes the whole season feel like one long, forgettable movie.

Consider how the show's own pace changes your memory, like @julia_carter70 said.
