Half speed subtitles broke my anime addiction in a good way

I started watching everything at 0.75x speed with subs on, even English shows. Now I catch little background jokes and foreshadowing I'd have missed, and my queue actually lasts longer. Anyone else try messing with playback speed or am I just weird?

Wait, you watch English shows at 0.75x speed too? That's wild, I feel like I'd go insane hearing everyone talk like they're underwater.
