I used to think ceramic speed pulleys were just a gimmick for rich dentists, but a customer insisted I install a set on his gravel bike last month.

He races a lot in the mud around here, and after 500 miles he brought it back for a check. I pulled the chain off to clean and the pulleys spun for what felt like a full minute with zero drag. The bearings were completely sealed and spotless. I'm still not buying a set for my own bike, but I finally get the hype for serious mileage in bad conditions. Has anyone else had a component they wrote off totally win them over?

Seriously, the right pair makes all the difference. I just got some that actually fit my feet right. Total game changer.
