Hot take: Bringing a selfie as a reference photo is a bad move.

This guy showed me a selfie he took from above, so I couldn't see the sides or back at all. I had to guess based on the top, and he wasn't happy with the result. What's the weirdest reference photo you've ever gotten?

How do they expect you to work with that?

Honestly @laura_black31 it's totally crazy. My last place pulled the same stuff and it just kills any will to get things done. They really don't get how this stuff affects people.

Could it be that they're actually trying to fix a bigger problem? Tight rules often come from past messes that needed cleaning up. Workers sometimes miss the full picture of what keeps a business going. Getting upset over every change just slows down real progress. I've worked under tight spots before and found ways to manage. In the end, the job gets done one way or another.
