inAppreciation post: Thinking back to how we used to wire flowers by hand for everything
Oof, feel that. Try picking ONE area to go deep on, even if it means letting other things move slower.

inRant: Coolant recycling backfired spectacularly at my shop
Remember that time I tried a compost bin to cut down on food waste? Thought it would be simple, just toss scraps in. Ended up with a swarm of fruit flies in the kitchen for a week, and my wife wouldn't stop calling it my science project. Makes you wonder why trying to do a little good has to come with its own laugh track, doesn't it? Guess the old way is just easier for everyone to ignore.

inWarning: Almost lost a critical tool in zero viz last month.
Sound smart. Full hands-on is the only way. Learned the hard way when my knife strap felt tight on the surface but popped off at depth. Now I pull every D-ring, yank my weight pockets, and actually try to open my BCD clips with my thick gloves on. That visual check misses stuff that moves when you do. Doing it in the same order is key, because your brain goes on auto-pilot and will scream if something is out of place. The second check right before you drop catches the stuff that got knocked loose gearing up.
