TIL those 'miracle' sponge cloths are just overpriced paper towels

Bought a 3 pack at Target for $12 thinking they'd replace every towel in my kitchen, but they fell apart after one week and started smelling like wet dog. Am I the only one who got tricked by those youtube ads showing them cleaning up everything?

Peeked inside the package at the store just to see how they looked and the smell hit me right through the plastic. Almost bought one but the wet dog alert went off before I could grab my wallet. You got played by internet magic, happens to the best of us.

Honestly @tarag28, "wet dog" is a pretty strong take for something that's probably just cheap fabric glue or whatever. Ngl, unless you stuck your nose right in the package, I doubt it was that bad.
