I finally saw what that weekly planner cult was all about

Back in 2018 I was dead set against using any kind of daily planning system. Thought it was for people who needed a trophy for making a grocery list. Then my neighbor dragged me to a 3 hour workshop where a guy in a vest showed us how to block out 15 minute chunks. By week two I had my whole week mapped out and honestly started getting home by 5pm instead of 7pm. Anyone else have a moment where you realized the thing you made fun of actually saved your ass?

Gray6 hit the nail on the head with that "did you keep it up tho" question. I'll be real, I fell off the wagon about three months in because life got crazy with the kids' sports stuff and my schedule started looking like a jigsaw puzzle again. But after a few weeks of chaos I actually went back to it, just in a looser way. Now I block out big chunks of time instead of those tiny 15 minute increments and it still works for me. Your mileage may vary of course but for some reason the core idea of seeing your whole week at once just stuck.
