Vent: I watched 'The Last Airbender' movie again and I'm ready to fight about it

I put it on last weekend after seeing it on a streaming list. Everyone I know says it's one of the worst movies ever made, and yeah, the acting is stiff and it misses a lot from the show. But I still think the bending effects are cool to look at, especially the earthbending scenes. It's a bad adaptation, but as a dumb fantasy movie, it's kind of fun. Has anyone else found a movie that's objectively bad but you still enjoy watching it?

You called it a weird broken toy, which is perfect. So when you pick it up, are you hoping to find some hidden charm, or is it more about watching how the pieces don't fit together?

Honestly, it's both. You start looking for charm and end up just laughing at how badly it's put together.

Okay, hear me out. I was totally on the "worst movie ever" train for years. But I rewatched it last month and something clicked. You're right, the earthbending scenes where they lift all those little rocks? That's still a neat visual. And the scene where they're on the giant library sinking into the sand is a cool idea, even if the rest is a mess. It's like a weird, broken toy you can't help but pick up and fiddle with. What's your favorite dumb scene to watch?
