Unpopular opinion: The Last Airbender movie isn't as bad as people say

I watched it again last weekend with my nephew who'd never seen the cartoon, and he thought the bending dances looked cool. Has anyone else found a bad movie that kids actually enjoy more than adults?

My five year old niece loves The Last Airbender movie too, but she also thinks the Trolls movies are cinematic masterpieces so maybe kids just have bad taste.

Ha, @tarar27 you might be onto something there. Kids probably just like watching people spin around and yell, doesn't matter if the effects are wonky. I tried to show my nephew the original cartoon after the movie and he said the animated firebending looked "too fake." Guess that's what happens when you grow up on Marvel movies and stuff. Kids are weird, man.
