My dating app hit 100 matches and I still can't get a second date

I've been on 15 first dates this year from the app, and every single one ended with a 'nice to meet you' text and then ghosting. I thought more matches meant more chances, but now it just feels like a numbers game that I'm losing. Do you think focusing on a few good conversations is better than trying to match with everyone?

Yeah, been there. Matching with everyone just burns you out and makes every chat feel low effort. Focus on maybe five people at a time where the conversation actually flows. A few real talks beat a hundred dead-end matches. It stops feeling like a game when you're actually interested.

How do you even pick which five to focus on though? I just end up with a bunch of okay chats and no clue who to drop.

Honestly the whole match count thing is a trap. My buddy had like 200 matches and still ended up meeting his gf at a coffee shop.
