Spent 4 hours trying to dry my tent fly in a hostel drying room that was barely warm
I finally gave up and hung it from a ceiling fan in the dorm, which got me kicked out at 2 AM, has anyone else just packed up a wet tent and dealt with the mold later?

People act like sitting still for a few hours is the worst thing in the world. Try standing in a cold rain for four hours and then we can talk about miserable. It's just a drying room, not a torture chamber.

The drying room was barely warm and you were there four hours? That's crazy. @the_riley might think standing in cold rain is worse, but four hours in a damp barely-heated room sounds like its own special kind of awful. I almost feel damp just reading about it. Did you at least have a chair or was it just standing around in the cold? Honestly, I'd take the cold rain over that.
