Warning: my worst week ever started with a lost dog and ended with a flooded kitchen

Last spring, my dog got out the gate on a Monday and I spent three days putting up flyers all over Riverside. I finally found him Thursday, only to come home to a burst pipe under the sink. The water ruined the new laminate floor I'd just put in. Has anyone else had a week where everything just piled on like that?

You're so focused on the dog that a small leak you might have noticed gets ignored until it blows. It's never just one thing, it's your normal checks and balances falling apart.
