Shoutout to the person who posted about the 'stuck' kitchen drawer last month
I had the same thing happen with a bathroom vanity drawer that wouldn't open, and I spent a full hour trying to pry it loose before I saw your tip about checking the metal glide for a small plastic release tab. Has anyone else found a different trick for this, or is that little tab the universal fix?

Seriously, an hour? I feel like we need to have a talk about what counts as a real problem. It's a drawer, not a bank vault. I've spent longer trying to get the last chip out of the bag. Next time just give it a solid whack with your hip. Works on my stubborn filing cabinet every time.

My old desk drawer took 45 minutes until I tried @the_sam's hip-check move.

My old kitchen drawer was stuck for three days. That little plastic tab is the real fix, not brute force. I learned the hard way after I broke a drawer front trying to hip-check it like some people suggest. That tab is there for a reason, to release the drawer from the track safely. A good whack might work once but it can damage the whole system. Taking two minutes to find the release saves a lot of trouble later.
