Warning: Decided to clean my graphics tablet with a wet wipe after 4 years

Been using the same Wacom Intuos since 2018 and never really cleaned it. Last week I grabbed a Clorox wipe out of habit and the surface got all sticky and the pen started dragging. Had to look up the manual online and turns out you're only supposed to use a dry microfiber cloth. Has anyone else messed up their tablet by using the wrong cleaner?

Why would you use a wet wipe on electronics though? @the_lee gotta read that manual first.

Blew $200 on a new tablet after using glass cleaner on mine once, now I read the manual twice.

Read the manual? I just assumed a wipe would work fine on anything plastic. Did Clorox actually mess up the surface coating, or is it still usable with a rough drag?
