Serious question, why did nobody tell me about using a garden hose to clean gutters from the ground?

I spent like 4 hours last fall hauling a ladder around my house and scooping leaves out by hand. My back was killing me for days. Then my neighbor Matt came over with this curved PVC pipe attachment for his hose and sprayed all the gunk out in like 20 minutes standing on the lawn. I felt like an idiot lol. Has anyone else found a random household tool that made a chore way easier than doing it the hard way?

Wait, you seriously just used a garden hose with a random PVC pipe attachment? Lol I gotta see that setup because my lazy ass has been paying a kid down the street $40 every fall to get on my roof with a leaf blower. After he slipped last year I told him no more and now I'm stuck doing it myself with a ladder like a chump.

Wait, wait wait. A kid slipped off your roof?? That's terrifying. I'd be sick with worry. I get you paid him but still. Dude, you gotta see the PVC pipe thing. It's just a curved piece of pipe from the hardware store. You jam it on the end of your hose. Then you spray water up into the gutter. It pushes all the crap out. No ladder needed. Your back will thank you.
