Is it smarter to pay for a premium chamber membership or just hit up every free mixer you can find in Phoenix?

I spent $400 on a high-end chamber membership last year and got 3 solid leads, but my buddy goes to 10 free networking events a month and says he does way better. Which route has worked for you all, the focused investment or the scattergun approach?

Honestly I think the scattergun approach works better lol. Your buddy going to 10 free events is probably getting way more face time with people, plus you can be picky about which ones actually pay off.
