Debate: Should museums return artifacts to their country of origin or keep them for global study?
I was at the British Museum last month and saw the Rosetta Stone debate heating up between two tourists, one said it belongs in Egypt while the other argued it's safer in London for researchers worldwide. What do you think is the right call on stuff like this?

Worked for me when I saw a similar fight at our local museum... I just said let them study it here but send digital copies and loan it back every few years.

Would digitizing the whole collection actually reduce those loan fights forever @verar21?
