Hot take: those all-in-one washer/dryer combos are a ticking time bomb
Last week I had to pull apart a brand new LG combo unit at a condo complex in Austin, and the control board was fried because the condensation drain clogged after just 3 months. The owner said it was rattling like crazy and then just stopped mid-cycle. Has anyone else dealt with these things failing way faster than they should?

Ugh, the rattling and then just dying mid-cycle is exactly what I've heard from others too. @danielb43 the vinegar cycle idea is nice but with these combos the problem is usually deeper than just mineral buildup. These machines are packed so tight that one little clog takes out the whole system way too fast.

Did you try running a vinegar cycle through it to clear the mineral buildup?
