Showerthought: The new guys always skip the torque stripe on the 737 main gear bolts

Honestly, I see it all the time at our hangar in Kansas City. They think if the wrench clicks, they're done, but that stripe is your visual backup. I caught a set last month with three bolts already backing out before the plane even moved. How do you guys get them to take the extra five seconds?

Man, that's scary. We started making them take a picture of the stripe with their phone and show the lead before moving on. It's a pain, but it works.

Always thought that was overkill, but seeing how often it catches mistakes changed my mind.
