Overheard a guy at the hangar say 'a clean workspace is a sign of a slow mechanic' and I couldn't disagree more.

My most efficient repair on a Cessna 172's landing gear last month came from a spotless bench where I found the sheared bolt in under 10 minutes because nothing else was in the way.
