Why does nobody talk about how air fryers changed the way I make bacon forever?

I was at a friend's house in Austin last year and she pulled out this crispy, perfect bacon from her air fryer and I haven't used a stovetop for it since, has anyone else had that moment where one thing made you ditch your old method for good?

Wait, am I the only one who burnt their first batch so bad the smoke alarm became sentient and started judging me? Honestly, the air fryer changed everything for me. I used to destroy bacon on the stovetop constantly like it was my full-time job. Grease splatters always ended up looking like I fought a tiny oil monster in my kitchen. Now I just toss it in, set it, and come back to crispy perfection without all the chaos.

Maybe it's just me but stovetop still tastes better.
