Talked to a neighbor about his water bill and now I'm worried about my own pipes
Honestly, my neighbor over on Copper Avenue said his water bill jumped by $60 last month and he found a slow leak under his kitchen sink. Tbh, I haven't checked my own pipes in ages and my house is from the 80s. Has anyone had a plumber in ABQ they really trust for a basic check-up?

My uncle had a leak like that, turned out his whole yard was soggy for months. He ended up with a crazy high bill and a bunch of dead grass.

Used to think small leaks were no big deal, but stories like your uncle's and what @logan205 said totally changed my mind. That kind of slow damage is the worst.
