I finally carry a respirator after what I found in an old food court
A while back, I was inside the abandoned Valley View Mall. I walked into the food court and noticed a weird smell right away. It was damp and had a chemical tinge to it. Later, I read that spots like that often have mold or asbestos dust. Now I always bring a respirator with me on explores. Inhaling that stuff can cause serious lung problems over time. If you go into these places, please think about your air quality first.

What model respirator did you end up getting? Some of the cheap ones don't seal right and let stuff in. A good fit matters more than people realize.

Yeah, fit is everything. I used to think it was overkill until I started reading up on long-term exposure risks.
