Rewiring that 1920s bungalow made me question AFCI breaker rules

The AFCIs tripped nonstop on circuits that checked out fine, which was a huge pain. I honestly think they're overrated for basic lighting runs in retrofits, lmao. Anyone skip them when the code allows, or is that just me?
