Hotel chaos at the last comic con nearly wrecked my whole trip
Last year, I drove to a big comic con in Chicago without booking a hotel, thinking I could find something last minute. That was a huge mistake. Every place near the con was full or had insane prices, so I slept in my car for two nights. It ruined my whole trip because I was too tired to enjoy the early panels I wanted to see.
