Showerthought: Carpool lanes are packed way more than last year
On my commute, I see way more cars with passengers than before. Carpooling cuts fuel costs and emissions per trip. What simple step would get you to share a ride?

My buddy tried carpooling with a coworker last week. Said the guy was way too into his true crime podcasts for a 7 a.m. drive. He’s back to driving solo.

I hit that merge from the 10 every day and it's a parking lot. All those extra cars in the carpool lane just means the regular lanes are at a total standstill. It feels like it's added a good ten minutes to my drive, easy. I get why people are doing it, but man, it's brutal out there.
