I used to hate long layovers until one in Reykjavik turned into a city tour

Now I plan extra time between flights on purpose.

Oh totally, I read this article about how Singapore's airport has a butterfly garden and a rooftop pool you can use during a layover. Makes me want to book a trip with a terrible connection on purpose.

Question whether a butterfly garden justifies a terrible layover. Airports are chaotic even with amenities, and you might not have time to enjoy them. I'd rather avoid connection headaches altogether.
