dill pickle chips vs salt and vinegar, my gas station choice in Reno

Stopped at a Chevron off I-80 last Tuesday and had $2.50 for one bag. Picked dill pickle over salt and vinegar and honestly it was way too salty, like licking a brine puddle. Should I have gone with the classic or is there a better pickle chip brand out there?
