That quiet moment before a fight on 'Survivor' flipped my whole view

I used to be sure that all the yelling on reality shows was just for cameras. But last week, I caught a clip online from after a 'Survivor' tribal council. It showed two players helping each other back to camp, talking normal. The show never aired that part, just the argument they had later. In my experience, that kind of editing hides the real relationships. Your mileage may vary, but it convinced me the drama is often real feelings stretched out. Now I watch knowing a lot gets left on the cutting room floor. It makes the shows more interesting but also kind of sad.

Wait, they were actually helping each other walk back? That's wild, I always figured they cut to separate shots of them storming off. It's crazy to think they're having a normal chat while the show's setting up for a big fight scene.

Right?? It's so weird to picture, @morgan_taylor33. They're just having a chill chat while the crew is setting up something huge around them.

My friend on crew said they were gossiping during a huge stunt setup, totally normal for them.
