Saw a bunch of teens with pastel hair at the mall and it sparked some ideas

Just came back from a trip to the local mall, and I spotted at least ten teens with pastel pink and blue hair. It's not just one or two, it's a whole crowd. Back at my shop, I've seen more requests for subtle pastel tones these days. Clients often come in with pictures from Instagram, wanting the same look. I always spend time to explain the bleaching process needed for these colors. Using a gentle bleach and a toner can make a big difference. Aftercare is crucial, so I recommend sulfate-free shampoo. Seeing this trend in my neighborhood shows how fast styles change, and we hairdressers have to keep learning.

Oh man, my friend tried pastel green once... total bleach meltdown.

What did your friend's hair even look like after that? I tried one of those store box dyes a few years back, it was supposed to be dark brown but it came out this weird purple black. Took forever to grow out, I just wore a lot of hats. That pastel green probably wouldn't wash out either, just got worse every time they showered.

Ngl it can't be that bad, even derekl79's friend probably just had a weird phase for a couple weeks. People always make box dye drama sound way worse than it is lol.
