My new take on silk arrangements for corporate jobs
I used to avoid fake flowers at all costs. Setting up a long-term display with no upkeep changed my mind completely.

Totally get where you're coming from. My stubborn pride had me killing real ferns in windowless lobbies for years. Like, I'd drag in a watering can every Monday, acting like some kind of plant hero. All that effort for a sad, brown corpse by the printer. Silk arrangements are basically cheating, and I'm here for it. No more tragic plant funerals on company time.

Read an article about how fake plants are getting really good now. They mentioned some offices use them to keep up appearances without the hassle. I mean, my aunt's dentist office has these silk orchids that look real until you touch them. No one has to remember to water them, and they don't attract bugs. It seems like a smart move for places with no natural light, idk.

Seriously, my friend's office wasted so much on real plants that just died. They had a fancy ficus in the lobby that dropped leaves all over the client chairs. After the fourth one gave up, @hill.andrew's point about no upkeep finally got through to them. They swapped to silk arrangements that look real from a distance. No one waters them, and they always look fine. It saved them from constant replanting and messy cleanups.
