Herbs in bouquets are a must, not an extra
I mix things like thyme into my flower arrangements. It adds a layer that plain flowers miss, and I think it's key for full designs. Do you add non-flower elements to your work?

Yeah, I read a blog post a while back about how herbs can actually make flowers last longer. It said something about the oils in thyme or rosemary keeping the water cleaner. I mean, it makes sense, right? Plus, the smell is just amazing, way better than just flowers. I've started adding little bits of lavender too, and it really changes the whole vibe of a bouquet.

Wait, herbs can clean the water? That's wild, I had no idea. Makes me want to try it just to see if it works.

Have you looked into which herbs work the best for this, or does it not really matter? Tyler's point about the oils makes a ton of sense (I guess that's why they have that strong smell). I'm just wondering if something like mint would work as well as rosemary, or if the stronger ones are actually more effective for cleaning the water.
