Getting the sewer scope done on our house took 3 weeks longer than planned

Our inspector found a blocked cleanout and said we needed a full sewer scope before closing. I figured it would be a quick call, but every company in our area was booked solid for weeks. It finally got done yesterday, a full 21 days after we first called. Has anyone else had a simple inspection step turn into a huge delay?

Ugh, that sounds so stressful.

Yeah the "quick call" thing... I always thought inspections were fast until our appraisal got held up for a month over a missing handrail.

Three weeks just for a sewer scope is wild. That reminds me of what @brookeross said about the handrail, it's crazy how one tiny thing can hold everything up. I'd be losing my mind waiting that long.
