Can we talk about how I used to rewrite every sentence before moving on

My writing partner in Austin finally told me to just type 'TK' and keep going, and I finished a chapter in two days instead of two weeks. Anyone else have a trick that broke their perfectionist loop?

Oh man, that TK trick is genius. I forced myself to write with a timer, no backspacing allowed. Kinda like @cameronmurray's method but without the hangover.

Seriously, the timer thing is a game changer. I mean, it forces you to just get the messy first draft out, kinda like what @james_kim said. The real trick is accepting that first drafts are supposed to be bad.
