My bank's website did the same thing last year. I ended up calling the county tax office directly the next morning. They took a payment over the phone and waived the late fee because of the tech problem. Saved me a big headache. Always worth a quick call to explain the situation.

They waived the late fee just for calling? That's crazy, I always assumed those offices were super strict. Good to know they can actually be reasonable about tech issues.
