Remembering the time my entire collection's color palette bled together in a hotel bathtub in Cleveland
I was rinsing a silk slip dress in the sink after a client dinner spill, and the dark plum dye from the hem ran straight up into the pale blush bodice, creating a permanent, streaky watercolor effect I had to lean into by dip-dyeing the other five pieces to match for a cohesive, if accidental, 'moody sunrise' line.

Ah, the classic Cleveland bathtub dye job... sounds about right for that town.

Have you actually been to Cleveland lately? The city's got way more going on than people give it credit for, lol.

That hotel on Prospect Avenue had the hardest water I've ever felt, like washing clothes in liquid chalk. My whole suitcase smelled like a wet rock by the end of the trip. Felix is right though, the city itself has this cool, stubborn energy that grows on you, kind of like that accidental dye pattern. You just have to work with what you get.
