Warning: I tried to speed up my morning by putting my coffee maker on a timer

I set it up to start brewing at 6:45 AM so it would be ready when I got up. After three days, I woke up to a huge puddle of coffee on my kitchen floor. The hack failed because my old machine needs the carafe under the spout to start, and the timer just turned on the heater. Now I have to clean my floor before I even get caffeine. Anyone know a good machine that actually works with a basic outlet timer?

Oh man, that "puddle of coffee" part is the worst. Been there with a different machine. My basic Mr. Coffee actually works with a timer, no fancy stuff needed.

Wait, your Mr. Coffee has a timer? That's the dream right there. My last one just had an on switch that felt like it might start a fire.

The timer is a game changer. Waking up to coffee already brewed feels like a tiny daily luxury. My old one just had a single red light that glared like a demon eye in the dark. The new one beeps once and it's done, no drama.
