The silent treatment from my sister over a $200 loan is still going on after 8 months.
Last November, I lent her the money for a car repair after she promised to pay me back by Christmas. She got a bonus at work in January but bought a new TV instead. I brought it up once in March and she said I was being cheap. We haven't spoken since, and it's ruined our whole relationship. Has anyone else lost a family member over a loan that wasn't even that big?

Man, that's brutal. It was never about the money, it was about the broken promise and the disrespect. She showed you exactly where you stand when she bought that TV. Honestly, losing the relationship over this just proves she wasn't worth the stress.
