My hands won't stop shaking during phone calls and it's isolating
I've been dealing with this for months now. Every time my phone rings, my heart starts pounding and my hands tremble. It's not even bad news, just normal calls from work or friends. I try to hide it by putting the phone on speaker or texting instead. But it's getting worse, like during video meetings where everyone can see me fidget. I've never told anyone because they might think I'm weak or unstable. It's exhausting to pretend everything's fine when inside I'm a mess. I wish we could talk about these silent struggles without shame.

Shaking like a leaf is such a specific feeling lol. What were you so nervous about that it made your hands shake that bad? Like was it a super important call or just a random conversation that went sideways?

Honestly, shaking like that doesn't always mean you're nervous. I mean, sometimes it's just your body reacting to random things. Like, if you're cold or had too much coffee, your hands might shake during any call. Idk, maybe it's just me but I've had shakes from excitement too, not just fear. People jump to think it's anxiety, but it could be a plain physical reaction. So maybe the call wasn't super important at all.
